Organisers were determined for the major annual fundraiser for Wollongong's mental health clubhouse to go ahead for 125 people at the Novotel Wollongong Northbeach.
And that has been made possible with generous support from ioh and other Illawarra businesses.
The committee behind the event, led by chair Professor Frank Deane and deputy chair Janine Cullen, knows the ongoing impacts of COVID-19 have caused significant disruption to people's lives.
And how the One Door Illawarra Clubhouse helps reduce isolation and loneliness and creates a supportive environment where friendships and life skills are developed.
Along with Katie Tonacia, of Picking up the Pieces, Friday's lunch will now also feature a talk by former Australian Idol winner and Wave FM breakfast personality Damien Leith who has written a book called 'One More Time' about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
And recently been filming for a new movie called 'Just Ruby'.
