During that time, they've knocked off Jamberoo twice, as well as producing commanding wins against Stingrays, Berry-Shoalhaven Heads and Albion Park-Oak Flats - seeing them string five wins together on the trot.
"Saturday's win against Jamberoo was massive," Gorillas second-rower Duke Grant said.
"We started a bit slow but once we got into the grind of the match, we found our groove and didn't look back.
"Everyone knew how important the match was and you could see that in our performances - it was one of our best games as a group all season."
That winning streak will go on the line on Saturday, during the grand final qualifier against Gerringong at Michael Cronin Oval.
"Many had us pegged to not make finals this season and we have used that as motivation," Grant, who sustained an ankle injury against Jamberoo and is in a race against time to be fit for Saturday, said.
"We all saw how Kiama rode a winning streak into a premiership last season and we are trying to do the same.
"But we aren't getting ahead of ourselves, especially going into a match against the undefeated minor premiers Gerringong.
"After showing we can match it with them earlier in the season, the whole squad is confident in our abilities going into Saturday.
"The biggest thing will be getting a strong start because if we are slow out of the gates again, they will crucify us."
While Gerringong is in the midst of one of their strongest eras at the club, Warilla-Lake South might be on the brink of starting their next dynasty.
"A lot of us, such as Callum [Gromek], Sam [Hooper], Tyrone [Roberts], Liam [Vane-Tempest], Oscar [Fitzpatrick], Curtis [Stone] and myself were part of that under 18s premiership-winning side and have been playing together for a while now," Grant said.
"All of us have individually had a taste of first grade but this year, with other club juniors such as Blake Dowel and my brother Blair, it's been great to all rip in together and show what we can do.
"It's been particularly special to play alongside Blair and for my dad [Troy] this season - something we haven't ever really had the chance to do, apart from the odd under 18s game a couple of years ago."
As promising as this crop of juniors is, this might be the last season they are all together for a while, as a number of them will be contention for the Dragons' Jersey Flegg (under 21s) squad for 2021.
"We want to make the most of this season, as we don't know when will be the next chance we'll all get to play together in Gorillas colours," Grant, who was in the Red V's under 20s squad before the NSWRL season was cancelled due to COVID-19, said.
"The club has done so much for so many of us in this squad and we want to repay them with a premiership this season."
The action at Michael Cronin Oval on Saturday will kick-off at 11.30am with the Stingrays and Kiama under 18s grand final qualifier before the women's league tag preliminary final between Gerringong and Stingrays kicks off at 1.30pm - with first grade's grand final qualifier at 3pm.
