After coronavirus played havoc with the calendar, a unique format has been established.
A host of top athletes have been split into six teams to compete across three rounds. The first is Saturday in Swansea Belmont, with Bulli to host the second round on November 7 and the third to be in Umina in early December.
Bulli's Chelsea Jones, Zara Sharman and Holly Holmesby will compete in the swimming events, while Wollongong City's Tobias Delaney will race on the sand.
Holmesby finds herself in Team Red, captained by Daniel Collins.
"The live drafting was really fun but pretty stressful," Collins said.
"It was unlike anything we've ever done in the sport but I've got a solid team out of it with a few NSW and Aussie champions and really solid younger athletes too. I just can't wait to get out there."
