A truck crash on the Hume Highway between Illawarra Highway and Medway Road just after 11am has closed northbound lanes on the Hume.
A Heavy vehicle tow truck, emergency services and Transport for NSW are at the scene and light vehicles are being diverted onto the Illawarra Hwy to Moss Vale, Waite St, Berrima Rd, Oldbury St, Old Hume Hwy, Medway Rd, and then back onto the Hume Mwy northbound.
Heavy vehicles are to follow the direction of Police or traffic controllers on site.
A short time later a car crashed on the Illawarra Highway near the top of Macquarie Pass and Tourist Road.
Motorists are advised to reduce their speed and exercise caution while emergency services attend the scene.
Then at 12.11pm a car crash occurred on Macquarie Pass near Clover Hill Road causing the highway to close in both directions.
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area and delay their journey on the Illawarra Highway.
