All the students from Kindergarten to Year 6 came dressed as a part of Curious Creatures and Wild Things Book Week theme.
This pleased principal Darren Hutton immensely.
He said Calderwood Christian School delights in celebrating literature in such a fun way in an age of technology and digital media.
"This is our opportunity to celebrate the classics and contemporary children's storybooks," Mr Hutton said.

He added students were excited to be welcomed to school by Grug at the recently installed school crossing made possible by Lend Lease and Shellharbour Council.
The pedestrian crossing on Calderwood Road allows students from the new Calderwood Estate to cross safely to school even when they are dressed for Book Week.
Claderwood Christian junior school teacher Heather Morton added parades were held throughout the morning to ensure COVID-19 distancing restrictions were maintained.
