A Lake Heights man has been charged after police searches allegedly uncovered prohibited weapons and ammunition as well as tools that had been reported stolen.

Police have been investigating a break and enter offence at two industrial machinery sheds on Bong Bong Road, Huntley.
Around $70,000 worth of equipment had been stolen, including laser levels, power tools, hand tools and a large tool-box.
At 8.30am on Wednesday, police stopped a man driving a Toyota Prado at Lake Heights.
Both the male driver and passenger were searched, followed by a search of a Toyota Hilux wagon, parked in a nearby driveway.
In the Hilux, police found a large tool-box, which they allege was taken from the sheds.
In a later search of the man's house, police allegedly uncovered a drop saw, laser levels, a number of battery-operated power tools, two extendable batons, shot-gun ammunition and other equipment.
The police then arrested the 32-year old man, taking him to Lake Illawarra police station.
He was charged with seven offences including aggravated break and enter, goods in custody, possessing a prohibited weapon and possessing ammunition without a licence.
He was refused bail and will appear at Wollongong Local Court on Thursday.
