The Falcons clinched this year's District League premiership with a 3-0 victory over Unanderra at Ian McLennan Park. The result means Oak Flats complete the title double in 2020.
It was a game where the Hearts were left to ruse plenty of missed opportunities, particularly in the first half. Conversely, Oak Flats had less chances but were clinical in attack.
Daniel Munilla set the tone with an early goal, before second half goals to substitute Julian Minutillo and Bojan Caric put the result beyond doubt.
Saturday's win was great reward for co-coaches Nathan Minutillo and Fabian Capetta, who forged a plan two years ago for the Falcons to win the premiership.
After the game, Minutillo was full of praise for his players.
"It was good, we got to our goal in the end," he said.
"We showed a lot of resolution. Credit to the boys, they just kept digging and digging. Even though things weren't going their way, they had to find their way out of the hole - and they did that.
"It was a hard game, to be honest. They were all over us in the first half after we scored early, but we were defensively solid and just went on with it. But I think we thoroughly deserve it and I thought we were the best team over the course of the year."
And while it was party time for Oak Flats, Unanderra coach Rod Williams was left to scratch his head.
"We probably should have won that easy, but we were beaten 3-0 and they had four shots," he said.
"Even they said, the game certainly didn't reflect the score. I'm very disappointed in the fact that we conceded a silly goal and then, prior to half time, we had four golden opportunities to really put the game beyond doubt.
"I've said it 100 times before, you miss the goal, you miss the opportunity, you don't deserve anything. And they got the cigar because they had four shots and scored three, that's how the cookie crumbles."
However, Williams said the Hearts would learn from the loss and come back stronger in 2021.
"They're a good bunch of boys, mate," he said.
"I don't want to make any excuses but we were missing two or three key players with injury and that. And you really miss players like that in big games. Certain players have come in and had to do a job, and got us this far.
"But it is what it is. We weren't good enough in front of goal and unfortunately, that's what wins you games."
Unlike last year's decider, where Bellambi nailed the game's opening goal after half time on their way to victory, Oak Flats didn't have to wait long to score first on Saturday.
Goalkeeper Brandon Groom was able to the parry away the first shot by a Falcons player, but the ball spilled to Munilla who made no mistake as his side led 1-0 after seven minutes.
However, it was Unanderra who looked the more aggressive side in the opening half hour - particularly Mark Picciolini. Despite having a number of half chances to score, the striker's radar was proving to be slightly off.
With around five minutes left in the half, the Hearts continued to pepper the goals, leading to Lachlan Martin taking a long-range shot which was nicely gloved by Ryan Franks.
While they had been under siege, it was Oak Flats who had the next best shot. Lee Gilroy found himself with only Groom ahead of him, with his strike rattling the cross bar before bouncing away.
The score remained 1-0 at half time.
The Hearts continued to work hard after the break and they were nearly rewarded when Daniel Saverrino put in a dangerous cross, however, the ball just slid past Martin's foot.
But it was Oak Flats who hit the scoreboard next when Minutillo tapped in a nice cross to give his side a 2-0 lead after 59 minutes.
Momentum continued to swing towards the minor premiers and they took full advantage, with Caric finding space and beating the goalkeeper to give the Falcons a 3-0 advantage.
Tensions started to boil over around the 85-minute mark, leading to an altercation between players. For their part, Oak Flats' Christian Capetta and Unanderra's Mark Picciolini both received red cards.
Both teams had a couple of late half chances to score, but Oak Flats secured the 3-0 victory.
Earlier in the day, Thirroul secured the District League Second Grade premiership with a 2-1 win over Oak Flats.
All three goals came in the first half on Saturday.
After Thunder's Jordan Cox opened the scoring in the 24th minute, the Falcons responded just five minutes later through Joshua Swinton.
Lachlan Dunn then headed home Thirroul's second goal in the 38th minute, which proved to be the match winner.
