From 10am and 2pm visitors can turn back time and ride the rusty rails for a day of nostalgia.
Treasurer Brad Johns said two of the museums steam locomotives will be operating.
The 1917 Davenport Steam Locomotive built in the USA was known as Kiama as it worked for Quarries Limited Kiama hauling blue metal.
The other is a 1923 steam locomotive was built by Hawthorn Leslie in the UK and worked at the Corrimal Colliery under the name Burra.
Mr Johns said there would also be miniature train rides, locomotive displays and the brown hoist boiler display would be operating.
Other attractions are the former Otford Signal Box and the Historical Yallah Station Building.
Illawarra Light Railway Museum is completely run by volunteers eager to restore and operate trains and items from industrial narrow gauge railways.
