One of the club's favourite sons will return for their next Premier League season following a two-year stint with the Wollongong Wolves.
Knight had left Bulli on a high note, delivering victory on the 2018 grand final day superb header in the third minute of added time to defeat Wollongong United. The result meant Knight had captained the club to the IPL double that season.
Knight then decided to venture out and test his skills in the NSW National Premier League. However, he is now ready to return to Bulli.
"It's exciting to go back, it's like a family to me that club," Knight, 27, said. "I spent seven seasons there. I was with the Wolves under 20s and I was 17 when I left for Bulli, and we had a lot of success."
Knight said that 2018 grand final win was the highlight of his last Bulli stint.
"It had been pretty well documented how many runner ups we had in grand finals. It was something that felt like a bit of a curse for the club," he said.
"Once we finally won it, it was a pretty big weekend."
Knight returns to Bulli with the knowledge he gained under Wolves head coach Luke Wilkshire. He will also bring defender Nick Littler along with him for the 2021 season.
"It was definitely a challenge and I had a good couple of years with some good bunch of players, and had a fair of success. I think I'm maybe a bit mature person now, but football wise, I don't think I'm much different," he said.
"There's no reason why we can't be right up there [next year]. Nick's a massive signing, I think he will comfortably be the best defender in that league. He's going to be huge."
