Oak Flats captain Scott McAndrew is confident his side will display the lessons learnt in last week's loss to Shellharbour on Saturday.
A Rats side featuring five players 18 and under suffered a middle and lower-order collapse to fall three runs short of their target.
The team will welcome back veterans Michael Arblaster, Phil Dell'Orefice and Joss Lynch for Saturday's clash with Kookas, with McAndrew eager to see increased patience from his batsmen.
"It's easy to say it looking back, but we panicked," McAndrew said. "A few of the boys went for big shots when we only needed a run a ball. That's the one thing we'd change, we don't have to go too hard too soon.
"We're at full strength this week, with Michael, Phil and Joss back, so with that extra quality and experience we'll be ready to go."
Saturday's other matches will see Kiama take on Shellharbour and Albion Park host a weakened Lake Illawarra. The Rail have the bye.
