The Culburra based business was formed five years ago but has really found it's paws in the last 12 months, despite the year being marred by COVID-q19 and the devastating impact of fires last summer.
Owner Julie Black came up with the idea for Bonza Dog Treats while volunteering for a dog rescue.
Every month she would donate dog biscuits for fundraisers and found they were selling out in record time.
She was constantly being asked where else people could buy them so she started the business by initially carrying a very small range of dehydrated treats as well as her already famous biscuits.

Continual demand has seen the business and range of products continue to grow and Bonza Dog Treats now also stocks dehydrated meat and fish treats that Ms Black said are 100 per cent Australian, 100 per cent natural and 100 per cent preservative free.
As well as an ever growing variety of hand made treats.
Ms Black said making premium Australian produce available to dog owners was the primary focus of
her business as is supporting Australian farmers and other South Coast businesses.
She is working ahead for Christmas by taking orders for gifts for furry members of families now to be delivered in December.
Options include a box of dehydrated treats, a box of baked treats, doggie donuts, gingerbread men, cute bandanas and a felt stocking to hang up for Santa Paws to fill.
