Jumping as a $2.35 favourite, jockey Mitchell Bell was posted three-wide on the three-year-old gelding trained by Robert and Luke Price.
But it mattered little as Bell took on the assignment, staying on the pace and then delivering a comfortable, impressive four-length win.
The Peter and Paul Snowden China Horse Club colt Oregon was left in his wake.
It's Count De Rupee's second straight win, with two runner-up placings in his four career starts and he'll now push on to the Magic Millions qualifier at Wyong on December 16.
The Prices have nominated him for the $2 million three-year-old Guineas on the Gold Coast in January.
It came before leading Kembla Grange trainer Gwenda Markwell finished with a double.
Tic Tock Man, formerly trained by the Prices, broke through at start 27 with a grinding win to beat Misty Brook by a neck in Saturday's 1400m Maiden.
Jockey Tyler Schiller then completed a race-to-race double, as Tongariro held off the fast-finishing Deadly Impact and Zenardini in a Class 1 over 1500m.
Schiller finished with three for the day, after also winning aboard Mark Newnham's three-year-old filly Rosa Moyessi, who started as $1.90 favourite.
If Schiller was in hot form at Kembla Grange, then Rachel King was on fire at Rosehill on Saturday, claiming four winners.
Invictus Salute capped a golden day for both King and Newnham by winning the Listed Starlight Stakes at Rosehill Gardens.
Invictus Salute ($6.50) got the right runs in the straight to defeat race leader Spaceboy ($10) by a short neck with Viridine ($5.50) a further three quarters of a length back in third.
The victory gave King her fourth win of the day and she also recorded three placings.
Newnham also trained Greysful Glamour to take out the ATC Cup.
"That was really satisfying," Newnham said.
"A bit like Greysful (Glamour), a couple of mares I've had pretty much since I started training. To have them both win stakes races on the same day is very, very satisfying."
Newnham was full of praise for King, a jockey he has had a long and successful association with.
"Rachel's a very good rider," Newnham said. "She got on the right horses today, gave them the right rides and that's what you expect from her."
The win will be the last for Invictus Salute, as the five-year-old mare is in foal to boom stallion I Am Invincible.
"That'll probably be her last start now," Newnham said.
"She's in foal to I Am Invincible so we've added value to her and her offspring.
"She's carrying some valuable cargo there, a really good performance from horse and rider, everything worked out for her." with AAP
