Teenagers Jackson Williams, Ricci-Rose Hampton and Tyson Arneman are among a list of Citos juniors making strides on and off the green as the club invests in its home-grown talent.
Williams and Hampton have been playing bowls for around three years and recently met in Dapto Citizens' 2020 Junior Singles decider which Williams won 21-14.
For Ricci-Rose Hampton reaching the Junior Singles final was another top performance and followed her partnering Tyson Arneman to win Citos' Mixed Pairs championship in 2020.
The teenagers did not have an easy run to the title and had to beat the defending champions Sally Golding and Phil Reynolds 20-18 in a quality final.
Meanwhile, for Williams his Junior Singles triumph was another step forward after winning the club's Minor Singles in 2019 plus the Junior Pairs with Isaac Carter.
Williams showed that even amid the challenges of COVID-19 he has kept improving his game and he now holds the top junior prize at one of Zone 16's leading clubs.
Williams is also taking big strides off the green and is the club's apprentice greenkeeper; taking over from another top junior prospect Toby Peters. The positive transition to working around the club will ensure Williams builds on his skills and will be a key figure at Citos for years to come.
