A crew from Marine Rescue Port Kembla was deployed to rescue two people on board a 15-foot runabout off Stanwell Tops on Friday night.

According to Marine Rescue, one person was winched from the disabled 15-foot boat offshore from Stanwell Tops on to the NSW Police Force PolAir helicopter.
The crew of rescue vessel Port Kembla 30 had searched for the small boat under darkness.
One person was winched on to the NSW Police PolAir helicopter, with the second remaining on board the boat for the return to shore.
Ambulance officials were called to the scene about 9.30pm.
According to Ambulance NSW, the two people were assessed at the scene and neither was transported to hospital.
The crew from Marine Rescue Port Kembla later took the runabout that broke down under tow and returned it to the Bellambi boat ramp.
