The two-day event at Stuart Park, which normally sees up to 10,000 people each day, had already been moved from October this year to January, but will be moved again to April due to uncertainty over restrictions.
"We want to deliver the festival to you all in the closest form possible that you are used to from us," a statement from organisers said on Tuesday.
"With January now on our doorstep and so many regulations still up in the air, we have decided to move to April to give us a more concrete opportunity to achieve that and ensure you all have time to sort your travel and accom [sic] logistics."
A spokeswoman said all the artists who were scheduled to play - like Tones & I, DMAs and Hockey Dad - will stay on the line-up at Stuart Park, North Wollongong, for the new dates of April 17-18.
Even with restrictions easing in NSW on December 7, under current regulations the total number of people they would be able to have at the festival is 5000 but it would have to be a seated event.
Ticket-holders who are unable to make the new dates have until December 22 to obtain a full refund. The Yours and Owls website also offers a resale facility.
