Kiama Municipal Council has unveiled a new modular pumptrack being installed at Mick Cronin Oval in Gerringong that can cater for a variety of ages and skill levels.
Director engineering and works Mike Dowd said it can be easily pulled apart and moved to different locations.
And can be assembled in a variety of configurations.
"The track will be moved to a different site at the start of each school holidays and remain there throughout the following school term," Mr Dowd said.
Future locations the pumptrack will be installed at during the next 12 months are James Oates Reserve, Minnamurra, Kevin Walsh Oval, Jamberoo, Gainsborough Chase Reserve, Kiama Downs and Hindmarsh Park, Kiama.
"We identified suitable reserves across the municipality, based on their size, topography, accessibility and suitability for local youth," Mr Dowd said.
Users will need to wear a helmet and safety gear, and follow some simple safety rules.
The NSW Government provided funding towards the track from its UCI Legacy Fund.
