Due to ever-changing health restrictions, the committee of Wollongong Sportfishing club has made the hard call to can the popular Lake Illawarra Flathead Classic.
Normally an annual event sponsored by Ocean Storm Tackle at Warilla in mid-January, let's hope it will be bigger and better next time round.
Fisheries FADS team have been hard at work deploying their annual FADs along the NSW coastline, with most now in place from Tweed Heads down to past Narooma.
Locally, Port Hacking 21 is at 34.08.356 south and 151.22.946 east, Port Kembla 16 is at 34.27.321 south and 151.04.308 east.
Shellharbour 13 is on station at 34.33.720 south and 151.00.626 east, Kiama 12 is at 34.41.000 south and 150.59.500 east and finally Currarong 13 is at 34.57.750 south and 150.58.500 east.
These are the original deployed co-ordinates so, if any have moved or are missing, could skippers report fresh locations to DPI at their website or phone (02) 4424 7421.
