The home is located at 1 The Grove, Austinmer.
Sitting on 594sqm, the home features spacious interiors, a versatile family-focused layout and quality finishes.
The ocean-view home also incorporates a self-contained detached studio and in-ground pool.
A popular holiday let known as the 'The Grove Beach House', the property currently has an asking price of $1,185.71 per night on Airbnb.
Kim Gibbs and husband Adam bought the property in the mid-90s, and undertook a knockdown-rebuild.
The couple also completed a major renovation of the home in 2002.
Two years ago, they bought in Wombarra and have since used the Austinmer home as a holiday let.
"It's a very flexible floor plan," Mrs Gibbs said.
"It's open plan, but has separate areas.
"It has so many areas that surprise and delight.
"Everyone can get away.
"That's the feedback from people who stay there; that people can get to their own spot."
Mrs Gibbs said they had listed the property essentially to test the market.
"We'll be sad to see it go," she said.
"It's a house that all the neighbours gathered at, and it's a lovely little community in Austinmer.
"It's such a great entertaining house. It's got the views, and you can't be built out."
It contains five bedrooms with built-ins, while the lower level is currently used as a sixth bedroom.
Co-selling agent, Jennifer McCormack from The Agency said it had been a year that has seen unprecedented demand for properties that have a lifestyle focus, and 1 The Grove is a "premium listing that will suit both families and investors".
"The layout offers superb flexibility of space with informal and formal living areas, and north-facing poolside alfresco entertaining," she told the Mercury.
"It's currently a high-end holiday let with a gross income exceeding $120,000."
