And Susan Wallis, of Good360, has being doing much of that this week.
In the process Mrs Wallis has become known as Sanitiser Santa by distributing an oversupply of hand sanitiser to local charities, schools and dance schools to help keep people safe at Christmas events.
Mrs Wallis is also the chair of Interchange Illawarra and knows how valuable and useful donations of hand sanitiser can be.
She has been very busy out delivering thousands of bottles of hand sanitiser to charities such as Need a Feed, Homeless Hub, Interchange Illawarra, Green Connect and Bellambi Neighbourhood Centre.
"I have handed out over 7000 bottles and approximately 1300 litres of sanitiser in four days," she said.
