Local Government Minister Shelley Hancock released the list to encourage owners to register their dog on the NSW Pet Registry.
"Microchipping and registering your dog is an important part of being a responsible pet owner," Mrs Hancock said.
"Each year over 5000 cats and dogs are reported lost across NSW and it's often our council pounds that are left to care for missing pets."
She said there was a one-off fee for registering your dog and the registry gave owners the best chance of finding their dog if it went missing.
