The NBL on Tuesday released the round three draw for the 2020/21 competition, which includes the Hawks taking on the Taipans in Cairns on January 28.
That game will come a week after Thursday night's clash with the Bullets in Brisbane, meaning Brian Goorjian's men will have seven days of rest between clashes.
The next two games shape as crucial for the Hawks, who are 2-0 and lead the NBL at the conclusion of round one.
The Hawks opened their account with a thrilling win over Brisbane on Saturday night, before making a huge statement in a 92-76 victory over the Taipans two nights later. However, both Queensland teams will be seeking revenge in the coming week.

Other highlights of the round three schedule include the NBL returning to Victoria for the first time in 2020/21, with Melbourne United playing the Phoenix in Bendigo on January 31.
"We will continue to monitor the situation across Australia in the hope we can also schedule games in New South Wales as soon as possible," NBL Commissioner Jeremy Loeliger said.
"It was great to see so many fans attend the first round last weekend and we hope venue capacities can continue to build across the season.
"The [opening] round went as smoothly as we could have hoped and we witnessed world-class basketball. Already this is shaping as another very even and fiercely contested season."
