Football South Coast on Monday morning announced the four Illawarra Premier League groups for the revamped pre-season competition, with United a chance to face fellow 2020 IPL finalists Albion Park White Eagles in their first game.
The two teams were drawn in group four alongside South Coast United.
Port Kembla, under new coach Stuart Beedie, will look to make an early impression in group one. The Zebras are up against Tarrawanna and Coniston.
Last year's IPL premiers Woonona will meet Cringila and Bellambi in group two, while group three consists of Corrimal, Bulli and Wollongong Olympic.
The other half of the Frat Cup -which starts on February 17 - been revamped in 2021, with four Community League teams to join District League sides in a conference.
The newly-promoted teams are Port Kembla Pumas, Gerringong, Dandaloo and Albion Park, who finished top four in last year's Community League campaign.
District League conference groups:
Group One: Unanderra Hearts, Shell Cove, University FC and Port Kembla Pumas.
Group Two: Fernhill, Berkeley Sports, Kiama and Gerringong.
Group Three: Oak Flats, Helensburgh, Picton and Dandaloo.
Group Four: Warilla, Balgownie, Thirroul and Albion Park City.
