Cr Bradbery moved a motion calling for an investigation of removing cyclists from the Blue Mile at North Wollongong and onto a dedicated cycle path on Cliff Road between Bourke and Harbour streets.

Cr Bradbery was particularly concerned about the risk of a collision between a cyclist and a pedestrian.
The proposal would also see Cliff Road become one-way.
The idea of a cycleway on Cliff Road has already made many unhappy, voicing their dislike through the Mercury's Facebook page.
It did not receive any support at Monday night's council either, with 10 councillors speaking against the motion.
Cr Walters' comments were fiery, saying it was a "whacky motion that no-one is asking for".
He then suggested the Lord Mayor's motion may have been more about the "golden mile" of Cliff Road.
"You only have to look at the Lord Mayoral disclosure forms in recent years and it's littered with donations from residents on Cliff Road," Cr Walters said.
"That has to be of concern to anyone in this chamber that has not been disclosed tonight."
In response, Cr Bradbery pointed out that there was also social housing along Cliff Road and "in terms of my relationships with those people, I know more about them than anyone else on that road".
He then asked for an apology from Cr Walters, who said sorry but added that "I wish you did declare your donations".
Cr David Brown pointed out a range of problems with making Cliff Road one-way, including the fact it would require the re-routing of the Gong Shuttle.
He also noted the council had only recently gone through extensive community consultation as part of the city's cycling strategy.
