With a first win on the board, the Phoenix are eager to keep the ball rolling.
The challenges don't get any easier, the side to take on Sydney FC on Monday night, but veteran striker David Ball is confident Wellington can make it two in a row.

"It's been a really good week," Ball said. "We've finally got the points on the board that our performances have warranted. We've been a bit disappointed we haven't got the points on the board that we deserved, it's great to get the first win and look to a great game against Sydney.
"We've had some great games against them. They set up the same way we do which makes for quite a tight, intense game."
The Phoenix players remained upbeat throughout their tough start to the season, those who were present a year ago all too aware how fast the tide can turn.
It took Wellington six games to register a win last summer. With the victory on the board, the side didn't look back, eventually finishing third on the ladder.
Ball was among the team's best last season and he's confident a top three finish is again on the cards.
"Last year it took us six games to get to the four points we have now, so we're already way ahead of the position we were in last year.
"Especially the lads here last year, we take confidence from how the season played out. I'm confident things can change quickly, if we sort a few things out, we can again be a good force in this league."
The English striker recognises the team hasn't reached their best, but he feels only minor tweaks are required for the Phoenix to hit their stride.
"The goals we've conceded, we know we can do better. They've come from mistakes that can be changed quite easily.
"I don't think any team has passed us up the park and gone through us, where we can hold our hands up and go that was good play, I don't think anyone's done that to us.
"It's more about getting consistent in both boxes in terms of taking our chances when they do come and stopping the teams taking easy goals against us."
