A bushwalker has been taken to Wollongong Hospital in a stable condition after a fall at Stanwell Park.
The 46-year-old was on the Wodi Wodi Track early Sunday afternoon when he fell down an embankment and suffered injuries.
Emergency services responded, and the Toll ambulance rescue helicopter was used to winch the man out.
He was then taken to hospital by road ambulance with suspected lower leg injuries.
"Paramedics provided ongoing treatment for the man until he was safely extricated," NSW Ambulance Inspector Mathew Stirling said.
"The Toll Ambulance Rescue Helicopter did a fantastic job to winch the man to safety."

An operation is under way to rescue an injured bushwalker at Stanwell Park.
The 46-year-old had a fall on the Wodi Wodi Track on Sunday afternoon.
It is understood he has sustained lower leg injuries.
