The two-year-old filly will jump from barrier one and will require an elite ride from jockey Brock Ryan, to find clear air and produce the same breathtaking turn of foot which saw her all but claim the Listed Lonhro Plate last start.
Ryan forced his way out inside the final 300m, flashing down the middle of the track to be a neck second to the Gai Waterhouse-Adrian Bott-trained Tilianam.
"I think she's best with cover, but there's no template with her," Price said.
"She's a quality filly, so really it's just a matter of Brock putting her where she's comfortable and hopefully a gap presents when we need it, because we know what she's capable of.
"These opportunities don't come along all the time, so I just hope she gets her opportunity to make the most of it."
Both of Jamaea's career runs have been on Good ground and she was as much as $17 on Thursday, up against favourite Four Moves Ahead ($2.70), trained by John Sargent, with the Randwick track already rated a Soft 7 and more rain expected. The Golden Slipper is on March 20.
Price also has a focus on the Provincial Championships final, with Liveinthefastlane running in Saturday's Newcastle heat.
Liveinthefastlane is rated an all-in $26 shot with TAB to take out the final at Randwick on April 10.
"She's pretty burly and only had one jump out," Price said.
"But she's definitely up to this class and hopefully we can get her qualified at Newcastle so we can set her for the final."
Gwenda Markwell's Gemmahra will run in the Newcastle's qualifier, as well as former stablemate Electric Girl, now with Nathan Doyle.
Liveinthefastlane (barrier 14) and Kerry Parker's Tampering (15) will have to negotiate wide draws, while Theresa Bateup's Magico Hombre will instead run a Benchmark 64 over 1400m.
The Price stable will also have Noble Soldier in on Friday night at Canterbury in a BM72 over 1250m, hoping to improve on a second placing at Kembla Grange last start.
