The daughter of Fernando Bale made her debut at Dapto on January 28 when a luckless third to Manipulate in 30.38 seconds. Just seven days later, on the basis of a slick start from box five, the diminutive juvenile raced clear of her rivals to score in a sharp 29.89 secs at the famous Showgrounds circuit.
She then lowered her PB to 29.78 with an all-the-way win over the smart Black Chilli on February 18 before being cut down in the final stride over 520m at Wentworth Park nine days later.
Back in class and at a very familiar venue, One Dimension stands head-and-shoulders above her rivals in ability and potential.
While One Dimension will secure $1500 for connections with victory at Dapto, Ice Cream Story, just 24 hours later, seeks to snare a cool $40,000 in the Group 2 Richmond Oaks.
The winner of eight races at Wentworth Park, Ice Cream Story had her first look at Richmond on February 26 when narrowly beaten by Zest To Excel in 30.53 secs.
Another youngster set to rock Dapto is Good Time Lenny. The son of Ritza Lenny made his debut at Dapto on February 25 when second (from box eight) to Impatient Rose in 30.40 secs.
This time, he exits box one and could not be better positioned. Punters, however, will have trouble getting any value in supporting the Mark Gatt-trained youngster.
Mr. Wendal (box two) has been scratched and with 'clear air' assured in the vital first few bounds, Good Time Lenny may well be beyond reach by the time the field rounds the first turn.
