Emergency services were called to the caravan park on Kings Point Drive around 5.30pm Thursday.
CPR was performed and continued by NSW Ambulance paramedics upon their arrival.
The boy was airlifted to the Sydney Children's Hospital at Randwick in a critical condition.
Officers attached to the South Coast Police District attended and have begun investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
