Sitting on 1201sqm, the four-bedroom, four-bathroom home is located at 28 Clifton School Parade, Clifton.
According to Pricefinder, the property previously sold for $2.4 million nearly three years ago.
It has been utilised as a high-end listing on short-term holiday rental platforms such as Airbnb.
There is currently no price guide for the property, which is due to go on the market this week.
Features include a heated infinity-edge saltwater pool at the end of the yard, home theatre system, teenage retreat and wine cellar.
Selling agent, Andrew McLeod from Molenaar & McNeice said the home offered an impressive view of the ocean and escarpment.
"The proximity of both ocean and escarpment is quite unique up in that part of the world, with regard to Clifton being so close to all of that," he said. "The privacy is also special - it's rare to find that sort of property with the privacy it has.
"And the way they've architecturally designed it with the views in mind, I think is exceptional.
"It's just peaceful up there. When you're up there and standing at the end of the deck near the pool and you do a 360, all you can see is ocean, escarpment and green."
The property is set to go to auction at a yet to be determined date in April.
