A 49-year-old man injured in an ultralight aircraft crash at Wilton on Sunday afternoon has been taken by helicopter to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
The man sustained chest, pelvic and lower leg injuries in the crash, which occurred just before 3pm.
"The aircraft was on its side as paramedics arrived with the patient underneath," NSW Ambulance Inspector David Kynaston said.
"Luckily the patient was not pinned as our paramedics worked to treat the male."

It is reported that an ultralight aircraft involved in a crash at Wilton on Sunday afternoon was not in the air at the time, but the pilot was instead practising manouevres on the ground when the incident occurred.
One person was removed from the aircraft and was treated by paramedics at the scene.
Fire and Rescue NSW crews attended and rendered a small fuel leak from the aircraft safe.
