Will Cliff Rd and Woodlawn Ave beat out northern trophies Marine Pde and Haig St for a spot in the prestigious dark blue suite?
These are the questions you can help answer as the world's favourite real estate board game will soon be released featuring some of Wollongong's best known streets and landmarks.
Yes, in the Monopoly Wollongong edition, residents of the Illawarra will be able to race each other to the top of the capitalist land baron ladder using our very own landmarks as the assets.
Put a hotel on Cliff Rd and Lawrence Hargrave Drive, or grab a bargain at the Piccadilly Centre as you grind your opponents into bankruptcy on your quest for real estate domination.
The local edition will be manufactured by custom board game maker Winning Moves, under licence from Hasbro, and they want to hear from Illawarra residents about which places and streets should be included.
There's sure to be healthy competition for places at the higher and lower ends of the prestige scale and it will be interesting to see which five streets come out as our versions of Mayfair, Park Lane, Bond St, Oxford St and Regent St?
Little Lake Cres at Warilla, Balgownie's Sherwood Drive, Lawrence Hargrave Dr, Lower Coast Rd, Trinity Row and others will be in the running.
And while affordable real estate is what everyone wants (but can't find) in the real world, being selected as one of the bargain properties on a Monopoly board is more a booby prize.
Wollongong's Piccadilly Centre will be up against some of the city's more notorious streets, from Mangerton to Berkeley, in the "battle" to be named as the purple and light blue addresses.
And what of the utilities? Tallawarra Power Station, the Dendrobium mine, the BlueScope steelworks?
While train stations might feature, it might be better to include shopping malls, from Figtree Grove to Warrawong Plaza.
Of course as we all know: there won't be a "free parking" square in this city.
Winning Moves Australia representative Dale Hackett encouraged people to get in touch with their ideas.
"We know how passionate locals from Wollongong are about their city, so we urge people to get in touch to share their favourite landmarks and locations for consideration," he said.
"We're committed to making Wollongong Monopoly a true representation of the area, so make sure you have your say."
People have from today until September to register their picks via a new Wollongong Monopoly Facebook page. The game is set to be released in October.
Wollongong will become the ninth city in Australia to have a special local edition.
