From mural painting to replacing the much loved Bellambi directional fish sign near the Rothery Street roundabout, to the rotation of the panel art in the Town Hall Laneway, there are opportunities for creatives just starting out to become experienced public artists.
Expressions of Interest applications are currently being taken by council through their website.
Closing dates for applications vary according to the project.
Projects currently on offer include: three mural sites at Fairy Meadow Skate Park, a mural in front of the Unanderra Community Centre and Library, a directional sign to welcome people to Bellambi, light box art for the Ethel Hayton Walk at Wollongong.
