Sopranos Shirin Majd and Carina Li will highlight Buddha's Birthday Multicultural Concert at Nan Tien Temple Auditorium on Monday.
Admission is $10 to the April 5 concert which runs 11.30-12.20pm and 1.30-2.20pm.
The concert is just one of the many cultural events being held at the Berkeley temple from April 2-5 as part of the Buddha's Birthday Festival celebrations.
Free cultural activities include Chinese Calligraphy and tea meditation as well as enjoying a number of colourful multicultural performances.
Activities for children include a Buddha's Birthday party complete with games and a treasure hunt.
Nan Tien's Health and Wellbeing Market also returned on Saturday.
All the regular stallholders were on hand as well a couple of new ones, including Body Shop and Elysian Therapies.
As per usual there was plenty of yummy, vegan/gluten-free food and free Tai Chi and meditation. There was also free birdwatching and a 'Purify' discussion.
The bird watching walk was led by retired ecologist and experienced birdwatcher Dr Dana Murty.
She is also a member and volunteer of Birdlife Australia organisation and of Sydney local birding groups.
