Learn tricks from the experts from at Circus Monoxide during free circus workshops at Wollongong Central shopping centre (level 1, Gateway Building near Country Road) from April 5 to 16, 10am to 12pm.
It's suitable for all ages with juggling, hula hopping, diablo, poi, scarves, flower and devil sticks, spinning plates.
There'll also be crazy mirrors, ring toss games, balance beams and other activities in the Carnival Central area.
Friday April 9
HARS Aviation Museum Tarmac Days
Check out some classic big birds from the sky from April 9 to 12, in addition to Museum's daily exhibits at the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society at Shellharbour Airport.
See the progress made by the museum's volunteers to restore a replica of Kingsford-Smith's Southern Cross along with many other aircraft. You can also walk on board our world record holding Qantas 747-400, the only one in Australia.
Saturday April 10
Ride the Gong - Family Fun Ride
A community bike day from 9am to 12noon at Fairy Meadow Beach Reserve, next to the surf club.
There will be two community bike rides to sign up for on the day at 9.15am and 10.15am. Participants will ride together on a scenic return 5km coastal route along Wollongong's shared cycleway with the Illawarra Bicycle Users Group (iBUG) and Illawarra Cycle Club.

Fiasco: Another Improvised Play
At the Music Lounge, in Wollongong Town Hall. Saturday, 7:30pm.
Fiasco is an improvised play inspired by tales of small-time capers gone disastrously wrong.
Presented by Rising Arts Productions, the team will place the audience as the director of their own play, using suggestions to create a chaotic cast of characters, bold motives and a setting filled to the brim with intrigue and peril.

Showtime in the City
From April 10 to 14, the Crown Street Mall and Wollongong Central bring carnival rides to the city each day from 10am to 3pm.
There'll also be a DJ on the Mall stage, roving entertainers, a farmyard animal nursery, face painting and balloon bending.
Receive one free ride ticket for every $5 spent in a participating Crown Street Mall or Wollongong Central retailer. Attractions available include teacup and saucer, mini pirate ship, Chair-o-plane, Kanga bounce.
Dr Farquhar's Black & White Ball

Sunday April 11
Ocean Swim
Two hundred swimmers will take to the water from Shellharbour Boat Harbour to Shellharbour North Beach from 9am to 2pm.
The Junior swim is at 9am, the Main swim at 10:15am.
Due to Covid 19 safety requirements thee will be NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY, and all entries MUST be completed online prior to the ocean swims cut off of Saturday April 10 at 6pm.
Entries via www.oceanswims.com and are limited to 200 due to Covid.
Science Space
Easter Lollyland School Holidays
Science Space will be transformed into a sweet wonderland from April 3 to 18, 10am to 4pm. They are showcasing the science behind all things sweet, offering a sneak peek (and taste) into the colour, chemistry and biology of confection creation.
Fairy Forest at Illawarra Fly
Meet the newest fairies and elves that call the Illawarra Rainforest home with their village spread along the stroll down to the elevated steel walkway, on the way back up the path and along the bushwalk back to the visitor centre.
It's on from April 2 to 18. All visitors must pre-book their tickets online in advance.
Continue the fun on the Illawarra Fly Zipline Tour! Soar on three flights, walk across two suspension bridges and stop at four cloud stations. Suitable for ages 4 and up.
