Appin-based trainer Vince Spiteri travels to Dapto on Thursday with the promising Sally's Reward and the daughter of Fernando Bale, though untried at 520m, is drawn to thoroughly test her more experienced rivals.

Only last Sunday, Sally's Reward showed a brilliant turn of speed to lead from box eight at Richmond and saluted over 400m in a sharp 22.69 seconds.
She's also scored in a slick 22.42s over 400m at Bulli while her resume also includes a strong finishing 24.96s effort over 440m at Goulburn.
With slow beginners drawn to her inside, Sally's Reward is expected to find the inside running before the all-important first turn and skip clear.

The reduced line-up is certainly to the advantage of Candy Carrera (box four) yet her best results, of late, have come over more ground. Nonetheless, Candy Carrera is a five-time winner at Wentworth Park and, while form can be fleeting, 'lass' is permanent.
Much like Sally's Reward, Skedaddle Crash - a son of emerging sire Aston Dee Bee - gives away a degree of experience to his rivals in Race Eight yet is clearly the one to beat.
He led from the first turn, worked three panels clear mid-race and just held on to score in 30.27s at Dapto on April 1. He's secured the same alley (three) and, with just three career starts on his resume, has plenty of scope for improvement.
