The Southern Highland's Gumnut Patisserie has won the 14th annual President's Medal presented by the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW. The iconic patisserie run by Tracy and Vicki Nickl, with stores in Bowral, Mittagong and Berrima, was awarded the medal by Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales at Government House on Wednesday evening. The first time President's Medal finalists were awarded Champion Cake, Champion Pastry and Best Professional Bakery Apprentice/Student Exhibit at the 2019 Sydney Royal Fine Food Show.
