Even her eight-year-old son Jordy Perrett chopped off his hair for his class mate Harry Posser, who is battling cancer.
Mrs Perrett is part of a group of Balgownie Public School mothers who organised the special fundraiser on Saturday.
The April 10 event held at Ava Dance Centre in Berkeley included a special fundraising dance class.
Mrs Perrett said all funds raised would go towards the Leukaemia Foundation's World's Greatest Shave - Shave for a Cure fundraiser as well as to support Harry Posser and his mother Jenny Henderson.
"Jenny herself just beat breast cancer last year. Now she is having to deal with her eight-year-old son Harry, who was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma," she said.
"She has been driving up and down to Westmead Hospital so Harry can get chemo, it's been tough. We want to do everything we can to help them during this difficult time."
Ava Dance Centre, Brilliant Blooms florist in Balgownie and RJ's Party and Variety Store in Corrimal have helped the group greatly with their fundraising efforts.
"We've already raised just over $1000 for the Shave for a Cure fundraiser," Mrs Perrett said. "We are hoping to do some other events to raise funds to help Jenny and Harry financially.
"Driving to and from Sydney on a regular basis can be expensive. Maybe we can get her some fuel vouchers or cash for groceries or whatever she needs.
"Every little bit helps and we will be doing our best to help. That includes setting up a GoFundMe page for them soon."
In the meantime, Mrs Perrett said cutting off all her hair was the least she could do.
"I don't personally think it is a big deal to shave off all my hair. I'm known for my long curly hair but it will grow back and I'm healthy.
"Many other women who have to shave their hair unfortunately have no choice and aren't healthy," she said.
