Twin brothers who were allegedly involved in a multi-million dollar property fraud scam have faced court for the first time.

Elie and Charbel Douna, who operate LuxLiving Homes in Albion Park Rail, fronted Port Kembla Local Court on Wednesday for a brief appearance where their lawyer sought an adjournment for eight weeks.
Police allege the 33-year-old brothers used falsified documentation in an alleged attempt to obtain a $14.7 million loan to construct homes for their development, Avoca Park, in Avondale.
Police allege bank statements were altered and contracts were forged to support a loan application to build the development.
Police allege 10 contracts for the construction of 19 homes, which was stage one of a 92-home development, were legitimate while nine contracts were allegedly forged.
Police allege real estate agent Ben Feltham, 35, who has been stood down from Right Choice agency, created the false document that had been used as contracts.
Feltham did not appear in court on Wednesday but was represented by a lawyer who also sought an adjournment.
Feltham also had his bail conditioned varied so he only has to report two days a week not three times.
The brothers were charged with 19 counts of publishing false/misleading information to obtain advantage, dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception and participating in a criminal group by contributing to criminal activity.
Charbel Douna was also charged with firearms and gaming offences.
Feltham was charged with nine counts of publishing false/misleading information to obtain advantage and participating in a criminal group by contributing to criminal activity.
In court, the police brief of evidence was ordered to be served on the lawyers for the Dounas and Feltham.
The police prosecutor also noted the cases were being referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions' office for consideration.
Pleas from the three men are yet to be entered for any of the charges.
The cases for the Dounas and Feltham were adjourned to Wollongong Local Court on June 30.
