The next national cabinet meeting has been brought forward to Monday and after that will convene twice a week as it seeks to rectify Australia's COVID-19 vaccination program.
The federal government this month dumped its vaccine rollout timetable, which sought to have all Australians vaccinated by the end of October.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison said the more regular meetings would continue "until we solve the problems and get the program back on track".
But the NSW premier told reporters she expected more vaccine transparency from the federal government if national cabinet meetings were to occur more frequently.
She reiterated the NSW government was keen to go above and beyond its assigned 300,000 COVID-19 vaccinations.
"We've been offering our support for a long time, approaching this with an enormous sense of urgency," Ms Berejiklian said on Wednesday.
"Having the majority of our population vaccinated does give us more freedom, puts us in line with where the world is heading.
"We can't afford to be left behind because it's bad for our communities."
It comes after Mr Morrison on Wednesday abandoned his opposition to major vaccine hubs, such as those proposed by the NSW government.
Mr Morrison said offering all Australians at least one shot of a vaccine by the end of this year remained a possibility but "there are too many uncertainties".
Medical authorities this month recommended people under 50 get the Pfizer vaccine instead of AstraZeneca because of rare blood clotting concerns.
