Brandon Fisher's partner, who was in the front passenger seat, can be heard screaming following the collision, which was captured on the car's dashcam.
The 22-year-old removalist was granted bail in Wollongong Local Court on Wednesday after he was charged with driving recklessly or in a dangerous manner; driving while disqualified and intimidation.
Documents tendered to court said the couple, who live in Woonona, started arguing after they left Corrimal shopping centre on Tuesday.
Police allege the argument escalated as the woman drove them home, with Fisher yelling at her and striking the dash with a closed fist.
They started arguing about who owned the car before the girlfriend pulled over on Campbell Street.
The woman was allegedly scared by her partner's behaviour who was screaming "get out of my car".
They got out the car and Fisher allegedly got into the driver's seat and yelled at his partner to get back in the car or he would drive away.
Police allege Fisher drove off and accelerated heavily along the residential Campbell Street, with police estimating he drove 100km/h in a 50km/h zone after they viewed the dashcam footage.
The couple continued yelling and police allege the car turned sharply to the left, with the front hitting a parked Hyundai i30.
Police allege Fisher continued driving at speed and crashed into a parked Volkswagen Caddy, causing significant damage to both cars.
Fisher's car turned about 120 degrees and ended up in the front yard of a home.
The car sustained major damage, beyond repair, and the airbags were deployed.
The collision caused the parked car to move forward and hit another parked car.
Emergency services were called and Fisher allegedly told police officers his girlfriend was driving the car.
She suffered injuries to her wrists and was taken to Wollongong Hospital for treatment.
Police viewed the dashcam footage and arrested Fisher at his home before he was taken to Wollongong Police Station and charged.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
In court, police prosecutor Tanya Pavlin opposed bail noting Fisher had a long record of driving whist disqualified.
She also indicated Fisher could be charged with a more serious offence of dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm due to the injuries sustained by his partner.
Fisher's defence lawyer Caitlin Drabble told the court her client said the girlfriend screamed "smash it" before she pulled on the steering wheel causing the car to crash into the parked vehicle.
Ms Drabble also told the court it was not inevitable that Fisher would receive a fulltime custodial sentence if he was convicted.
Magistrate Claire Girotto granted Fisher bail noting his criminal record, while it included several driving offences, did not include violence.
She ordered Fisher to report to police daily, not drive, live at his Woonona home and comply with the conditions of his AVO.
"I can't really see that this is going to happen again," Magistrate Girotto said. "This was not premediated. It appears to have been an angry outburst that went awry."
The case will return to court next month.
