The Dragons centre was among Sargent-Wilson's entourage for Tuesday's weigh in at Novotel Northbeach.
The 23-year-old's super-middleweight bout with Steven Rados is part of a stacked seven-fight card, with the night culminating in Lucas Browne and Paul Gallen's heavyweight battle.
Sargent-Wilson managed a first-round TKO victory in his pro debut at the WEC last year, and Lomax has no doubts that his good mate will shine in the ring again.
"He's been training really hard and I'm super excited to see him go out there on Wednesday," Lomax said.
"It should be a good test for him. But he's got a good team with him, he's trainer has been unbelievable and his family are the most supportive people that I've met.
"He's super pumped, he's a confident dude and he's put in all of the hard work. It should be good for him."
