Coniston had started their 2021 campaign with three straight wins, before falling to IPL contenders Albion Park (2-1) and Wollongong Olympic (3-0) in the past fortnight.
However, Fujieda's goal in the 65th minute saw them return to the winners' circle. It also proved the difference at Tarrawanna Oval between two sides who are fighting for a spot in the Illawarra Premier League's top five.
Coniston were one of three IPL winners to emerge on Saturday, with Woonona claiming a hard-fought 1-0 victory over the White Eagles while Olympic remain unbeaten after defeating South Coast United by 2-0.
Wollongong United is the only other unbeaten team in 2021, and they will look to continue that streak when they face Port Kembla at Wetherall Park on Sunday. Bulli will also host the Rosellas at Balls Paddock, while Corrimal tackles Cringila at Memorial Park.
