A motorcyclist has sustained serious injuries after crashing over a guard rail on the Illawarra Hwy, near Robertson.

The man in his 60s is now at St George Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Emergency services were called to the accident around 1500m from the Robertson pie shop around 1.45pm on Monday.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said four crews attended the accident, as well as a rescue helicopter.
The Mercury understands the man had to be rescued after falling down an incline before paramedics could attend to his injuries.
He said the man reportedly had injuries to his ribs and arm.
The man was flown to St George Hospital just before 4pm.
