As of Thursday afternoon, the track was a heavy nine, officials optimistic it will be suitable for racing, however heavy overnight rain could put a stop to the raceday. An inspection will be conducted in the morning.

Taylor's Dream, Kimberley Rain and Auburn Boy will remain at home, Price embracing the heavy going.
"We've had more rain than predicted, if it persists we might be in a bit of trouble," Price said. "Most of our horses are going to Wagga anyway, but we'll have three runners here.
"They've all performed in the wet, they're well placed, so hopefully we do race because we have three winning chances with the stable apprentice on board."
Brett Lazzarini is also confident his sole runner, Wild Chap, will handle the wet track, having placed in heavy going earlier this prep.
"I originally wasn't happy with the alley, drawing 13, but it might end up working out better with the track likely to play out that way," Lazzarini said.
