On Friday, Mr Ward criticised management group Reflections Holiday Parks, particularly over plans to build a conference centre as part of the redevelopment.
"The lack of clear communication and weak community engagement has only served to heighten frustration and anger amongst locals," Mr Ward said.
Reflections acting CEO Cameron Tynan was "committed to ongoing and extensive consultation" with the community.
"Reflections has recently sought a meeting with the Member for Kiama to understand his concerns with the consultation process and the project scope," Mr Tynan said.
He said the company had held 24 consultation sessions with the public in the last six weeks.
"We have gathered the community's feedback on the project concepts and will come back to the community with reviewed options based on our discussions," he said.
