The St George Illawarra forward, 30, and Callan Sinclair, 24, have each pleaded not guilty to five counts alleging they sexually assaulted a woman in a North Wollongong unit in December 2018.
After a week of deliberations, the Sydney District Court jury acquitted the men of one charge.
But it was unable to return unanimous or 11-to-1 verdicts on the other four charges against each accused, the jury foreperson testified.
Judge Nicole Noman discharged the jury about 3pm.
With the court proceedings yet to be resolved, the Dragons forward remains subject to the NRL's no-fault stand-down policy.
De Belin has now spent more than two years on the sidelines, the policy introduced prior to the start of the 2019 season.
In a statement released on Monday afternoon, the club said they will continue to support the player throughout this process.
"The Jack de Belin court matter did not reach a verdict on five of the six charges as a result of a hung jury in Sydney District Court on Monday," the statement said.
"De Belin was however found not guilty of a sixth charge.
"De Belin remains subject to the NRL's no-fault stand down policy.
"The next steps concerning all facets of matter are yet to be established.
"The Dragons will continue to provide the necessary welfare support to de Belin and his family.
"As this remains a legal matter, the club will make no further comment at this time."
