The Illawarra junior rugby union representative teams are looking to continue their successful run at the Country Championships in Port Stephens this weekend.
After the under-16 girls took out the title in Kiama a fortnight ago, the under-15 boys claimed their competition last Sunday with a 26-10 victory over Central West in the final.
Illawarra's Ella Koster was awarded the best forward award after the under-16 girls tournament.
Nathaniel Gallagher was named under-15 boys player of the tournament, while James Walsh and Zintori Makene were named best back in the under-16 and under-18 boys respectively.
The first two weeks saw a host of Illawarra youngsters selected in NSW Country squads. Across three age groups, 10 girls and 17 boys were picked in the representative side.
The Country Championships wrap up in Salamander Bay this weekend with the under-12, under-13 and under-14 competitions.
