The performer was in town as part of her eight-city Enchante tour and fan Jen Dus said Arena didn't waste much time in raising her concerns about the condition of the entertainment centre.
Ms Dus said she chose to raise the issue after the first song of her Wednesday night show.

"She sounded quite disappointed that nothing was done," Ms Dus said.
"At the last concert she was saying how archaic the dressing quarters were. She said they weren't adequate for your top musicians.
"She actually brought it to everyone's attention again [on Wednesday night], she pretty much said nothing had changed since the last time she was here."
It's not the first time Arena has taken a dim view of the current state of the entertainment centre.
At a 2017 Wollongong show, she told the audience that governments needed to chip in to give the entertainment centre a much-needed makeover.
Ahead of this week's show she also spoke of the importance of the venue for the city.
"The people of Wollongong deserve something fantastic," Arena told the Mercury.
"You pay your taxes ... and it's a responsibility to ensure our cultural centres are a place where people can congregate feeling great.
"Not only for the public, but for the artists to have an environment to which they can feel wonderful to be able to do their thing."
Wollongong MP Paul Scully has been calling for the upgrade for several years and said it was "disappointing" that Arena had to point out the need for renovations.
On Thursday Natalie Ward was appointed as the Berejiklian government's new Sports Minister and Mr Scully has already been in touch.
"I have written to her today asking to meet with her and encouraging her to tour the entertainment centre at her earliest convenience so she understands just how important it is to get an upgrade under way and progressed."
The venue has been showing its age in recent years, from weeds growing from the rooftop gutters to the embarrassment of a 2020 Hawks game being abandoned due to a leaking roof.
That incident prompted the previous acting Sports Minister Geoff Lee to state he was taking an interest in the centre's future.
But more than a year later, little work if any has been carried out on the entertainment centre.
In February, Mr Lee declared the venue was "safe, functional and fit for purpose".
"Those suggesting otherwise are simply misleading the community," Mr Lee said.
