Less than 24 hours after the South Coast competition cancelled both of Wreck Bay's matches at Francis Ryan Reserve, it was announced, due to the NSW Health public alert issued to the Jervis Bay area, the league, upon the request of the Jets, have decided to postpone all games slated on Saturday at Kevin Walsh Oval.
"Due to the recent COVID-19 case in the Jervis Bay/Shoalhaven area, we have requested our games this Saturday against Jamberoo Superoos to be postponed - we need to ensure player and spectator safety," the Jets club said.
This includes the women's league tag two (10am), WLT one (11am), under 18s (12pm), reserve grade (1.30pm) and first grade (3pm) games between the two clubs.
All five postponed matches will now have to be played mid-week when both teams can agree to a time when the venue is available.
"The games at Kevin Walsh Oval have been postponed as a number of Jets players are awaiting COVID-19 test results," Group Seven president Scott McLaurin said.
"Due to the number of people getting tested in the Shoalhaven, it is difficult to guarantee everyone that requires it has been done by Friday.
"The Nowra-Bomaderry club has shown due diligence and Group Seven certainly don't envisage any impact on the overall competition.

"The games will be played mid-week at the earliest possible convenience."
The South Coast competition's decision lines up with the Jervis Bay Territory's announcement to extend the State of Emergency over the region, which will now extend to June 30.
After the weekend off, Jamberoo head to Ron Costello Oval on Saturday to face the Sharks from 1.15pm, while the Jets host the Gorillas at Rugby Park on Sunday from 3pm.
