Mum-of-twins Poppy Jennings controversially quit the top-rating reality show during the 2020 season, over claims of two "uncomfortable" incidents by her onscreen husband, but despite this said the show has increased her chances of eventually finding someone.
"The amount of people that approach me because they have a reason to, I'm like a walking advertisement," she said. "I'm getting approached from really young guys but I'm not down for that, they're always in their early 20's and im 40."
When asked if she's ever do reality television again, the answer was a "hell no".
"I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either," Miss Jennings said. "It's life changing and there are some positives, but I'm lucky that I have my children and came out it alive and I'm actually really happy, but it took a really long time to get to this point."
Miss Jennings will be the special guest at the first Retro 40s singles event at the Illawarra Leagues Club on Church Street, this Saturday June 12.
"Even after dramatically failing - horribly - on TV, I'm still not afraid to give love a go and to attend things like this."
